Robert Miles' Children was the track that spurred me into writing a new album in 1996, and this was probably the first or second track that was finished. I was bored with electronic music at the time, until I heard Children. So I set out to write a dream-trance track with that one in mind, thinking I could cash in. It's a great song, but it didn't bring me the moolah like I thought. I probably should have sent it to someone.
This song also marked the point at which I started writing more musical pieces, like I had done before I discovered trackers and doing rave music. I was finally comfortable with the tracker software, and could concentrate on songwriting and composition, rather than just samples and beats.
