The Space Between

This track started with a single pad line, and grew from there. An example of how I just sit down to write something with no ideas in particular, mess around, and a few hours later, I have a basically complete track. Also a rare example of a time when I didn't remove a sample from one my my songs for fear of legal reprisal - "Christmas Island" by Depeche Mode.

This was meant to sound like a VNV Nation instrumental, and I think it's pretty close. I was quite into them at the time. I wanted to capture musically how angry I was about certain things between the time Omega was released and the time Glory was completed.
