I hadn't done a drum and bass track since 2000, so I thought it was high time. I was really into Goldie at the time, and in particular a track called "Hyena 1" that was featured in the movie High Fidelity, so this was a response to that. I espeically like the vocal samples of Richard Pryor from the movie "The Toy".
Originally, this song was called Thingr, because I couldn't think of a proper name for it. I often just name songs later, when they are finished but before then I just call them things like "fucked" or "this song sucks". 'Thingr' just popped into my head when I saw the save dialog.
